I earned a degree in philosophy and history from Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and I was a high school teacher for a few years. I then attended Towson State University, where I received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology (1988). I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University (1996) and I completed advanced studies in existential humanistic therapy. I am licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychology as a clinical psychologist (PSY3304). I have worked in a variety of settings, providing individual, couples, group and family therapy both in outpatient and inpatient facilities. I have extensive experience working with young adults (18-26), adults and seniors. I was a professor of psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology for two decades and I am a member of the American Psychological Association.
